Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, in the amount of $169,575 for the FY 12 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program; and Appropriating the $169,575 in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund to fund the enhancement of law enforcement efforts by the Police Department and Nueces County under an established interlocal agreement which provides that 50% of the funds to be distributed to Nueces County BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept a grant from the U. S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, in the amount of $169,575 for the FY 12 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. SECTION 2. That $169,575 is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund for the enhancement of law enforcement efforts by the Police Department and Nueces County under an established interlocal agreement.
