One telescopic boom excavator carrier mounted for the Street Division
be purchased on the basis of low bid from Plains Machinery Co.,
Corpus Christi, for $99,328. Price comparison reflects a 3% increase
since the last purchase in 1978. Two bids were received. This
equipment is used to clean and grade ditches and road maintenance
and will replace a 1970 model. Money from the 1981 -82 Revenue
Sharing Budget has been encumbered for the purchase.
