MOTIONS - 8/18/82

A motion was made by Council Member Gulley to waive the no bid in the
event of a lawsuit from Heldenfels Brothers; seconded by Mayor Pro Tem
Turner.
Council Member Hawkins stated that he was of the opinion that if there is
any possibility of a settlement, it should be settled now because the City
might have to pay more after litigation.
Mr. Heldenfels stated that he has been negotiating with various City staff
members ever since they finished the project, but no solution has been
reached.
The motion to waive the requirement that the Company be prohibited from
bidding if they're involved in litigation against the City passed unanimously.
