documents necessary to accept and appropriate a six month grant extension
amendment in the amount of $464,069 from the Texas Department of State Health
Services in the Health Grant Fund No. 1066, to provide funds for the Women,
Infants, and Children (WIC) program for the extended contract period of April 1,
2013 thru September 30, 2013; and to ratify acceptance of the grant extension
amendment to begin as of February 26, 2013.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute ail documents
necessary to accept and appropriate a six month grant extension amendment in the
amount of $464,069 from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health
Grant Fund No. 1066, to provide funds for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
program for the extended contract period of April 1, 2013 to September 30, 2013,
therein changing the term of the contract from October 1, 2012 thru March 31, 2013 to
October 1, 2012 thru September 30, 2013. Additionally the City Council ratifies
acceptance of the grant extension amendment to begin as of February 26, 2013.
