"SEA (Sports, Entertainment and Arts) District".
Whereas, portions of the area of the City of Corpus Christi located generally
within the boundaries depicted on the attached and incorporated Exhibit A have
previously been referred to as "SEATown";
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1. That the area of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, ("City"), lying
generally within the boundaries as depicted on the attached and incorporated Exhibit A,
is hereby officially known and renamed as the "SEA (Sports, Entertainment and Arts)
District".
Section 2. The City Council does hereby waive any requirements applicable to
the naming of areas of the City.
Section 3. This Ordinance takes effect on date of final City Council approval.
