from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health
Grants Fund No. 1066 to provide laboratory services for the analysis
of bay water samples for the contract period of September 1, 2013
through August 31, 2014; and to ratify acceptance of the grant to
begin as of September 1, 2013.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1: The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to accept and appropriate a grant in the amount of
$22,500 from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health
Grants Fund No. 1066 to provide laboratory services for the analysis of bay water
samples for the contract period of September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014
(Contract #2014 - 043952).
Section 2: Further the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant to begin as of
September 1, 2013. A copy of the executed grant shall be filed in the office of the
City Secretary.

or expenditure described below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below,
from which it is to be drawn, and has not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future
payments are subject to annual appropriation by the City Council.
