Management Grants Fund to improve mitigation, preparedness,
response, and recovery capabilities for the City of Corpus Christi
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Acceptance of a grant from the Texas Department of Public Safety,
Governor's Division of Emergency Management, in the amount of $75,325.21 for the
Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) by the Mayor on September 4,
2013 is ratified.
SECTION 2. That $75,325.21 is appropriated from the Texas Department of Public
Safety's, Governor's Division of Emergency Management, Emergency Management
Performance Grant Program in the No. 1063 Emergency Management Grants Fund for
improving mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities for the City of
Corpus Christi.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expendlture described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
