Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant, from the Earl C. Sams Foundation, in the
amount of $12,000 to purchase an explosive/weapon detection canine,
training, and associated equipment within the Police Department; and
appropriating the $12,000 in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant, from the Earl C. Sams Foundation, in the amount of
$12,000 to purchase an explosive /weapon detection canine, training, and associated
equipment within the Police Department;
SECTION 2. That $12,000 grant is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund to
purchase an explosive /weapon detection canine, training, and associated equipment
within the Police Department.
