Authorizing the City Manager, or designee, to submit a grant
application In the amount of $35,000 to the State of Texas,
Criminal Justice Division for funding available under the
Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to
automate Police training records; and authorizing the City
Manager or designee to apply for, accept, reject, alter, or
terminate the grant.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to submit a
grant application in the amount of $35,000 to the State of Texas, Criminal
Justice Division for funding available under the Edward Byme Memorial
Justice Assistance Grant Program to automate Police training records.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may apply for, accept, reject,
agree to alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant
is awarded to the City.
