execute all documents necessary to accept and appropriate a
grant amendment in the amount of $141,003.00 from the Texas
Department of State Health Services in the Health Grants Fund
No. 1066, to provide funds for the Women, Infants, and Children
(WIC) program; and to ratify acceptance of this grant
amendment to begin as of June 6, 2014.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas that:
Section 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute all
documents necessary to accept and appropriate a grant amendment in the
amount of $141,003.00 from the Texas Department of State Health
Services in the Health Grants Fund No. 1066, to provide funds for the
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. The current grant amount of
$918,336.00 is hereby increased by the grant amendment in the amount of
$141,003.00 for a total grant in the amount of $1,059,339.00 (Contract
#2014 - 045103).
Section 2. The City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant amendment in the
amount of $141,003.00 to begin as of June 6, 2014. A copy of the documents
shall be filed in the office of the City Secretary.
