amending the FY2014-2015 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No.
030294 to increase expenditures in the amount of $4,300,000; and
authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute the engineering
contract with Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Corpus Christi, Texas in the
amount of $381,220 for the Choke Canyon Dam Spillway Gate
Rehabilitation for design, bid, and construction phase services.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. An amount of $4,300,000 is appropriated from the Unreserved Fund Balance in
No. 4050 Choke Canyon Fund Account No. 251400 Reserve for Choke Canyon Maintenance
into Water CIP Fund 4080 for Project No. E14043 Choke Canyon Dam Spillway Gate
Rehabilitation.
SECTION 2. The FY 2014-2015 Operating Budget adopted by Ordinance No. 030294 is
amended to increase expenditures in the amount of$4,300,000.
SECTION 3. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute the engineering contract
with Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of$381,220 for the Choke
Canyon Dam Spillway Gate Rehabilitation for design, bid, and construction phase services.
