12. The City Council adopt a legislative policy to oppose legislation that:
a. Will undermine the principle of Home RUIe and local self
government.
b. Mandates increased costs to cities.
C. Results in loss of revenue to cities except where local option is
provided.
d. Results in diminishing the authority of Cities to regulate and
manage their growth and development.
e. Proposes to change the city's policies contained in existing
provisions of the Charter, ordinances, resolutions, and master
plans, unless such changes expand the City's ability to manage
its own affairs.
and support legislation that:
a. Reduces costs to the City.
b. provides more local control.
C. Protects those policies previously established through the
Charter, ordinances, resolutions and master plans.
