all documents necessary to accept and appropriate a grant in the
amount of$963,369.00 from the Texas Department of State Health
Services in the Health Grants Fund No.1066,to provide funds for the
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program for the contract period
of October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015; and to ratify acceptance
of the grant to begin as of October 1,2014.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas:
Section 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept and appropriate a grant in the amount of $963,369.00 from the
Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health Grants Fund No. 1066, to
provide funds for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, based on a $12.71
reimbursement for each participant served for the contract period of October 1, 2014
to September 30, 2015. (Contract# 2015-047290-001).
Section 2. The City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant to begin as of October 1,
2014. A copy of the documents shall be filed in the office of the City Secretary.
