amending Ordinance No. 030294 to increase the number of
positions authorized for the classification of "Police Captain"
from fifteen (15) to sixteen (16)
WHEREAS, an additional Police Captain position will be assigned to the Animal Control
division; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to §143.021 Texas Local Government Code, the Corpus Christi
City Council shall prescribe the number of positions in each classification.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 030294 is amended by increasing the number of positions
authorized for classification of"Police Captain" from fifteen (15) to sixteen (16).
