Ratifying and authorizing the City Manager to execute a first amendment to
the lease agreement with United Airlines to extend the term of the lease;
providing for an effective date; providing for severance; and providing for
publication.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council ratifies and authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to
execute a first amendment to the existing Airline Use and Lease Agreement with United Air-
lines, Inc., in order to extend the term of the lease through September 30, 2017, in consider-
ation of the payment of fees.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective on the 61st day following final approval by the City
Council, in compliance with the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or word of
this ordinance is held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent juris-
diction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or word of
this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph,
subdivision, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance be given full force and effect for its
purpose.
SECTION 4. Publication will be made in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi, the
costs of which are payable by each tenant, as required by the City Charter of the City of
Corpus Christi.
