Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$285,951 from Nueces County
for funding eligible under the FY 2014 Department of Homeland Security
Grant Program Operation Stonegarden to reimburse fuel, overtime, fringe
benefits, and equipment expenditures for the Police Department's
collaborative enforcement efforts with Nueces County along routes of
ingress and egress to include (but not limited to) U. S, Highway 77 and
State HY44; and appropriating the $285,951 in the No. 1061 Police Grants
Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$285,951 from Nueces County for funding
eligible under the FY 2014 Department of Homeland Security Grant Program Operation
Stonegarden to reimburse fuel, overtime, fringe benefits, and equipment expenditures
for the Police Department's collaborative enforcement efforts with Nueces County along
routes of ingress and egress to include (but not limited to) U. S, Highway 77 and State
HY44.
SECTION 2. That $285,951 is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund.

representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
