HomeMy WebLinkAbout030657 ORD - 10/20/2015 Ordinance authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents necessary to accept, amend, and appropriate a grant contract for the Infectious Disease Control Unit/Surveillance and Epidemiology Ebola (IDCU/SUREB)grant in the amount of $165,000, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health Grants Fund No. 1066, to perform surveillance and epidemiology activities for infectious diseases for the contract period September 1, 2015, through August 31, 2017; and ratifying acceptance of the grant agreement to begin September 1, 2015. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,Texas: Section 1: The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept and appropriate a total grant amount of $165,000, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health Grants Fund No. 1066, for the contract period of September 1, 2015, through August 31, 2017, to perform surveillance and epidemiology activities for infectious diseases. Section 2: The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute any future amendments to the grant contract which extend the contract period or increase or decrease the amount of the grant. Section 3: Further the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant to begin as of September 1, 2015.
