A replacement 30 horsepower trenching machine be purchased for the
Park Division from Case Power & Equipment Co., on the basis of low
bid for $11,885. Six bid invitations were issued and three bids were
received. Price comparison shows an increase of 9.5% since the last
purchase in August, 1981. A 1976 model trencher will be replaced.
Money for the trencher has been encumbered from the 1981 -82
Budget.
