HomeMy WebLinkAbout030951 RES - 09/13/2016 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE PORT OF CORPUS CHRISTI AUTHORITY (POCCA) FOR THE POCAA TO DESIGN, CONSTRUCT AND DONATE AT NO COST TO THE CITY A NEW 16-INCH WATER MAIN OF APPROXIMATELY 14,250 LINEAR FEET TO BE USED BY THE CITY TO EXTEND POTABLE WATER SERVICE IN AN EXPANDED AREA OF THE JOE FULTON INTERNATIONAL TRADE CORRIDOR. Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas: Section 1. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to execute an agreement with Port of Corpus Christi Authority (POCCA) for the POCCA to design, construct, and donate at no cost to the City a new 16-inch water main of approximately 14,250 linear feet to be used by the City to extend potable water service in an expanded area of the Joe Fulton International Trade Corridor. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Secretary.
