HomeMy WebLinkAbout030959 ORD - 09/20/2016 Ordinance authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents necessary to accept an amendment to a grant contract for the Community Preparedness Section-Laboratory Response Network—Public Health Emergency Preparedness (CPS-LRN-PHEP) grant in the amount of $201,123.00, increasing the total amount to $402,246.00, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the No. 1066 Health Grants Fund, to provide continued emergency preparedness laboratory services, for the amended contract period July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2017; appropriating the increased grant amount; and ratifying acceptance of the amended grant agreement to begin June 1, 2016. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas: Section 1: The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept an amended grant amount of $402,246.00, from the Texas Department of State Health Services in the Health Grants Fund No. 1066, for the amended contract period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017, to provide continued emergency preparedness laboratory services. Section 2: That the increased grant amount of $201,123.00, is appropriated in the No. 1066 Health Grants Fund to continue the CPS-LRN-PHEP grant in the Health Department. Section 3: The amendment includes revisions to Section 7 Statement of Work; the Budget Summary; and Section 16 Special Provisions. Section 4: Further the City Council ratifies acceptance of the grant amendment to begin as of July 1, 2016.
