Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents
necessary to accept additional grant funding in the amount of$28,898.82
from the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control
Policy, to support the Police Department's role in the Texas Coastal
Corridor Initiative in the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area
(HIDTA); and appropriating the $28,898.82 in the No. 1061 Police Grants
Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept additional grant funding in the amount of$28,898.82 from the
Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy to support the Police
Department's role in the Texas Coastal Corridor Initiative in the Houston High Intensity
Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).
SECTION 2. That $28,898.82 is appropriated in the No 1061 Police Grants Fund from
the Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy for funding the Police
Department's role in the Texas Coastal Corridor Initiative in the Houston High Intensity
Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).
