of the Governor— Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security

appropriating $280,108.79 from the Texas Office of the Governor—
Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program into
the No. 1062 Fire Grants Fund to carry out homeland security projects
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
Section 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept 4 grants totaling of$280,108.79 from the Texas Office of the
Governor— Homeland Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program
(HSGP) for law enforcement terrorism prevention activities.
Grant Number 3137501 SWAT Ballistic Protection Equipment $181,873.20
Grant Number 2966302 Man-Portable X-ray Units $ 82,985.59
Grant Number 3142601 Swiftwater Rescue $ 10,884.11
Grant Number 3133801 Grid Aim System $ 4,365.89
Section 2. That $280,108.79 from the Texas Office of the Governor— Homeland
Security Grant Division, Homeland Security Grant Program is appropriated into the No.
1062 Fire Grants Fund to carry out homeland security projects associated with each
grant that will significantly improve local and regional terrorism prevention,
preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities.
