HomeMy WebLinkAbout031131 ORD - 05/09/2017 Ordinance Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents necessary to accept a grant subaward in the amount of$20,000 from the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy, to support the Police Department's role in the Texas Coastal Corridor Initiative in the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) for additional overtime in an effort to eradicate the synthetic cannabinoid epidemic; and appropriating the $20,000 in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents necessary to accept a grant subaward in the amount of$20,000 from the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy, to support the Police Department's role in the Texas Coastal Corridor Initiative in the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) for additional overtime to eradicate the synthetic cannabinoid epidemic. SECTION 2.
