Youth Development program contract with the Texas Department of
Family and Protective Services from June 1, 2017 to August 31, 2021
in the amount of $1,808,168.54, and appropriation of the funds in the
No. 1060 Grants Fund for the Community Youth Development
Program; and authorizing subcontracts with Boys & Girls Club of
Corpus Christi, Communities in Schools of the Coastal Bend, Youth
Odyssey, Inc. and the Y.W.C.A.
Now, therefore, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi,
Texas:
Section 1. That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to execute the
Community Youth Development program contract with the Texas Department of Family
and Protective Services from June 1, 2017 to August 31, 2021 in the amount of
$1,808,168.54, and is also authorized to execute subcontracts with Boys & Girls Club of
Corpus Christi, Communities in Schools of the Coastal Bend, Youth Odyssey, Inc. and
the Y.W.C.A. A copy of the agreements will be filed with the office of the City Secretary.
Section 2. That the contract funds are appropriated in the No. 1060 Grants fund
for the Community Youth Development Program.
Section 3. This Ordinance takes effect on date of final approval by City Council.
