Ratifying the submission of a grant application in the amount of $58,082 with a
hard match of $2,765 to the US Department of Homeland Security, Federal
Emergency Management Agency to purchase a fire safety trailer; and
authorizing the city manager, or designee, to apply for, accept, reject, alter or
terminate the grant.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Council ratifies submission of a grant application in the amount
of $58,082 with a hard match of $2,765 to the US Department of Homeland Security,
Federal Emergency Management Agency to purchase a fire safety trailer.
SECTION 2. The City Manager, or designee, may apply for, accept, reject, agree to
alter the terms and conditions, or terminate the grant, if the grant is awarded to the
City.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of these funds, the City of Corpus
Christi assures that the funds will be returned, in full, to the US Department of
Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency.
