Authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$28,000 from the Texas
Department of Public Safety, Texas Homeland Security State
Administrative Agency for funding eligible under the FY2017 Local Border
Security Program (LBSP) grant to reimburse overtime and fringe benefits;
and appropriating the $28,000 in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of$28,000 from the Texas Department of
Public Safety, Texas Homeland Security State Administrative Agency for funding
eligible under the FY2017 Local Border Security Program (LBSP) grant.
SECTION 2. That $28,000 is appropriated in the No 1061 Police Grants Fund from the
Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Homeland Security State Administrative
Agency to reimburse overtime and fringe benefits.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of these State of Texas, Criminal Justice
Division funds, the City of Corpus Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the
State of Texas, Criminal Justice Division in full.
