Authorizing the City Manager or designee to accept a donation from Walmart
in the amount of $1,000 to be used to support the Corpus Christi Smoke
Alarm Program; and appropriating $1,000 from Walmart into the Fire Grant
Fund No. 1062
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to accept a donation from
Walmart in the amount of$1,000 to be used support the Corpus Christi Smoke Alarm
Program.
SECTION 2. That $1,000 from Walmart is appropriated in the Fire Grant Fund No. 1062
to be used to purchase smoke alarms.
