Security Program; and appropriating $40,000 in Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant in the amount of $40,000 from the Office of the Governor's
Homeland Security Grants Division (HSGD) for funding eligible under the FY2019 Local
Border Security Program (LBSP) grant.
SECTION 2. That $40,000 is appropriated in the No 1061 Police Grants Fund from the
HSGD for eligible overtime and operational costs.
SECTION 3. In the event of the loss or misuse of the HSGD funds, the City of Corpus
Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the HSGD in full.
