to Police Grants Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager or designee is authorized to execute all documents
necessary to accept a grant from the State of Texas, Criminal Justice Division in the
amount of$54,339.42 to continue the Violence Against Women Formula Grant (VAWA)
grant within the Police Department with a cash match of$14,000.00 and an in-kind
match of$8,280.00 for a total project cost of$76,619.42.
SECTION 2. That $54,339.42 grant is appropriated in the No. 1061 Police Grants Fund
to continue the VAWA grant program in the Police Department.
SECTION 3. The transfer of$14,000.00 from the No. 1020 General Fund to the No.
1061 Police Grants Fund as grant matching funds is authorized and appropriated for a
total project cost of$76,619.42.
