HomeMy WebLinkAbout031628 ORD - 12/11/2018 Ordinance authorizing a five-year service agreement with PM AM Corporation, Dallas, Texas, for security alarm permitting and false alarm management system services for an estimated amount of $575,000; appropriating $115,000 in additional revenue into the General Fund; and amending the budget. WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement for the management of the City's security alarm permitting and false alarm management system services; WHEREAS, State law provides that such procurements, as outlined above, are subject to statutory procurement requirements, including competitive bids, unless an exception applies; WHEREAS, the City issued Request for Proposals No. 1428 ("RFP") requesting proposals for security alarm permitting and false alarm management system services; and WHEREAS, PM AM Corporation's proposal provides the best value to the City and City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to award the agreement to PM AM Corporation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That funds in the amount of $115,000 in additional revenues are appropriated into the General Fund No. 1020. SECTION 2. That the FY2018-19 operating budget adopted by Ordinance No. 031548 is amended by increasing revenues and expenditures by $115,000. SECTION 3. The City Manager, or designee, is authorized to execute a five-year service agreement for security alarm permitting and false alarm management system services with PM AM Corporation of Dallas Texas, for an estimated amount of$575,000.
