8. Approving a twelve month supply agreement for replacement auto, truck
and construction equipment safety glass to Safety Glass Company, Inc.,
Corpus Christi, Texas based on low bid of approximately $15,000. Safety
Glass bid a 73% discount on windshield glass and a 68$ discount on
straight glass with installation charges of $15 on door, back and quarter
glass and $20 for windshields. Four bids were received. Price comparison
shows a decrease of 28.8% on glass and 20% on installation charges.
