Plans and specifications for construction of the Connection of Surfside
Boulevard to Timon Boulevard be approved and bids be received on
August 17, 1983. The proposed improvements are in accordance with
Corpus Christi Beach Plan; will provide better access to the southern
portion of Corpus Christi Beach by eliminating the sharp curve at Surfside
and Timon at Elm Street. This project was included in the 7th and 8th
Year Community Development Block Grant Program and the 1982 Bond
Program.
