Approving an amendment to a water purchase contract between San Patricio
Municipal Water District and Rincon Water Supply Corporation (Sodville
Division) requiring the purchase by an annexing city of any part of
Rincon's water distribution system within an area annexed by a city if the
city desires to provide exclusive water service within the annexed area.
The San Patricio District purchases treated water from Corpus Christi and
sells water to Rincon. This amendment has been requested by the Farmers
Home Administration, the agency providing funding for the project. Both
the Corporation and the District have approved the amendment.
