SUPPLEMENT TO THE AGENDA OF THE
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
SEPTEMBER 28, 1983

K. ACTION OF THE COUNCIL FROM THE WORKSHOP SESSION:
1. Adopting a motion setting a policy and requesting that an ordinance
be prepared which states:
a. Members of Boards and Commissions shall not serve more than
six years consecutively unless the appointment is by virtue of
position or title as the result of employment.
O�Y J b. Unless called for by ordinance, charter, or statute or unless the
0 appointment is by virtue of position or title as the result of
employment or some other unusual circumstance, a person shall
not serve on more than one Board or Commission at the same
time.

C. Advisory, non - voting, members may be appointed to Boards or
Commissions by the City Council and shall not be subject to
these provisions.
