11. Purchase of 3500' of 1 3/4" and 1,500' of 5" replacement fire hose for the
Fire Department on the basis of low bid from Snap -rite -Fire Protection
Division, Cunningham, Texas, be approved for $18,980. Seven bid
invitations were issued and three bids were received. Prices have
decreased an average 18 since last purchase May, 1983. The hose is
included in the 1983 -84 Budget.
