7. Accepting the low bid from Superior Remount, Inc. for one budgeted
ambulance and one additional ambulance at a cost of $39,689.43 per vehicle
and a total cost of $79,378.36. Approving the purchase of the additional
ambulance with funding from the $10,310.57 saved on the bid versus budgeted
amount and the remainder from the Revenue Sharing vehicle Replacement Fund.
Six bid invitations were issued and two bids were received. Price
comparison shows an 18% decrease since the last purchase.
