5. Approving a twelve month supply agreement, with option to extend for an
additional twelve months at the same terms and conditions, subject to the
approval of the supplier and the City Manager, or his designee, for 10, 12
and 14" steel line pipe for the Gas Division, based on low bid to L. B.
Faster, for an estimated total of $472,690. Sixteen bid invitations were
issued and four bids were received. Prices have increased 3.85% since last
contract November, 1983.
