MOTIONS - 2/23/85
A motion was made by Council Member Kennedy that Mr. Armando Chapa be
appointed to the position of City Secretary effective within the period not to
exceed 30 days, at his present salary of $43,000 plus a $200 per month car
allowance; that Dorothy Zahn continue serving as Acting City Secretary until Mr.
Chapa assumes the position; and that she be paid the salary of the City
Secretary during the entire time that she has served as Acting City Secretary;
and that Ms. Zahn continue as Assistant City Secretary after Mr. Chaps actually
begins his employment as City Secretary.
The motion was seconded by Council Member Brown and passed unanimously.
