MOTIONS - 2/26/85
The Park and Recreation Board at its regular meeting on January 16, 1985,
voted to recommend to the City Council that the Park and Recreation
Department co- sponsor the 2nd Annual KUNO State Hispanic Festival with KUNO
Radio Station. The Department requests that the City Manager be allowed to
enter into an agreement with KUNO for the use of Greenwood Park. The
Festival is to be held June 15 and 16, 1985, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
each day. KUNG will deposit $13,000 prior to the event to cover the
Department's arranging of logistical items such as site improvements,
utility set -up, security, sanitation, and labor. KUNO radio will provide
all advertising and talent. The Festival will be free to the public.
