MOTIONS - 9/10/85
2. Approving and authorizing the submission of a D.W.I. Selective Traffic
Enforcement grant to the Texas State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation. The focus of the grant will be to increase the efficiency
of the detection and apprehension of the D.W.I. offender. The grant period
will be October 1, 1985 through September 30, 1986 with the City cost,
which is included in the 1985 -86 budget, totalling $50,054 (25% through May
14, 1986, $22,197 and 50% through September 30, 1986, $27,857). The State
contribution totals $94,457.
