6. Approving the following actions on the Annaville Area No. 1 Street Improve-
ment project:
Ibanez Construction Co., the original contractor who defaulted on the
project, be assessed for 76 days liquidated damages at $100 per day
for a total of $7,600.
b. The unfinished portion of the work completed by Bellwether Construc-
tion Company be accepted and remaining funds of $5,203.18 be
authorized to this firm.
C. The project be accepted and remaining funds in the construction
account of $20,299.91 be authorized to the bonding company, Great
American Insurance Company, to be used towards payment of unpaid
claims incurred by the Ibanez firm.
The total cost of this Voluntary Paving project is $237,513.97, which
included the reconstruction of Redbud Drive, from Japonica Drive to the
West Guth Park boundary, and Forest Bill Lane, from Violet Road to Birdwood
Lane.
