11. Approving the recommendation of the Civil Service Board that the firm of
Morris & McDaniels, Inc., provide consultant services for a Police
Lieutenant promotional examination including an assessment center and that
the City Manager be authorized to execute a professional services agreement
with this firm to provide this service, with the option to extend the
contract to cover development of up to four additional promotional
examinations for Police and Fire positions, if necessary. The Civil
Service Commission regulations adopted in August, 1984, required that
assessment center administration and test analysis assistance be obtained
from a qualified psychologist with proven experience in this field.
