Texas under the Victims of Crime Act for $104,013.20 with city match
of$2,643.37 cash and $23,360 in-kind services.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas:
SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes submission of the grant application to the State
of Texas, Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in the amount of$104.013.20
for funding available under the Victims of Crime Act(VOCA) Fund for community outreach
to identify resistant or reluctant victims of crime and assist victims in understanding and
participating in the criminal justice system..
SECTION 2. The City Council commits to provide for the applicable city match of
$2,643.37 cash and $23,360 in-kind services, for a total project cost of$106,656.57.
SECTION 3. The City Manager or the City Manager's designee may apply for, accept,
reject, alter, or terminate the grant.
SECTION 4. In the event of the loss or misuse of these Office of the Governor funds, the
City of Corpus Christi assures that the funds will be returned to the State of Texas, Office
of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division in full.

I, the Director of Financial Services of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas (or his/her duly authorized
representative), hereby certify to the City Council and other appropriate officers that the money required
for the current fiscal year's portion of the contract, agreement, obligation or expenditure described
below is in the Treasury to the credit of the Fund specified below, from which it is to be drawn, and has
not been appropriated for any other purpose. Future payments are subject to annual appropriation
by the City Council.
