Helping Heroes Program in the amount of$3,000 to be used to support
the Corpus Christi — Nueces County Local Emergency Planning
Committee; and appropriating the funds into the LEPC Fund No. 6060.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager or designee is authorized to accept a grant from Flint Hills
Resources 2019 Helping Heroes Program in the amount of$3,000 to be used to support
the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Local Emergency Planning Committee to purchase
150 multi-functional flashlight/radios for Shelter in Place kits which are distributed to area
school classrooms, senior centers and daycare facilities.
SECTION 2: That $3,000 from Flint Hills Resources 2019 Helping Heroes Program is
appropriated in the LEPC Fund No. 6060.
