The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City", and ECMS, Inc. hereinafter
called "Engineer", agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Engineering
Services for Spur 3, Phase 2: Ennis Joslin - Ocean Drive/Alameda to South Padre Island

EXHIBIT A
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The term of the contract will be extended through March 31,
2004, unless amended and evidenced in writing.
CONTRACT FEE: The fee for Amendment 4 will not exceed $13,055.00 for a restated
not to exceed fee of $180,745.00. The City will make monthly payments based on
invoices submitted by the Engineer based on the following fee schedule:
a. Services by the Engineer will be invoiced at $60.00 per hour; and
b. Services by a part time inspector working approximately 24 hours per week will be
invoiced at $35.00 per hour.
The total Amendment No. 4 Fee is not to exceed $13,055.00.
