8. Accepting the recommendation of the Ambulance Advisory Council to change
the name of the AID ambulance service to "Corpus Christi Emergency Medical
Service" to better reflect the advanced life support service provided and
the area being served. The Nueces County Hospital District, Nueces County
Commissioners, and City staff agree with this recommendation.
