1. Approving specifications and authorizing bids be received for swimming pool
chemicals including liquified chlorine, muratic acid, bicarbonate of soda,
caustic soda, soda ash, and calcium hypochloride. The term of this
agreement will be twelve months with option to extend for an additional
twelve months, at the same terms and conditions, subject to the approval of
the supplier and the City Manager or his designee. Estimated annual
expenditure is $29,000, and funds were approved in the 1985 -86 budget.
