This Agreement (the "Agreement") Is m m Volunteer Center of the
Coastal Bend, Inc. ("C,o,,buctor"), a Texas nonprofit COrTx)mtJon, and the CAty of
Corpus C2wtstJ. Texas (lt~e "City'), a munlcJpal corporation.
VVHEREAS, on September 2, 2005, the Office of the Gove~no~ mquestad Cofl3us
Chrlstrs mnc~ ~ pmvtde shelter to assist aPt~ 3,000 people who
were displaced as a result of Hurricane Katrlna ('~vacuees~
WHEREAS, the City required volunteem ~ assist w~ all a~ects of evactmes'
needs, Indudlr~ but not limited to ttm following: providing dali ent~/services for
FEMA registration; shelter assistance arxl meal preparation sen~ces;

procedures and forms se City Call Center could also m ~m~ ~ ~
