CORPUS CHRISTI CONVENTION & VISITORS BURf'AU CONCERNING SALE OF BEACH
PERMIT STICKERS

agent fl)f the sole purpose of accepting payment for Beach Permit Stickers at Agent's place of business
located at 1201 Shoreline. Corpus Christi, Texas 7840 I
2. Agent accepts this appointment. and III consideration of the compensation to be paid, agrees to
faithfully perform Agent=s duties required in this Agreement.
3. City shall deliver Beach Pernlit Stickers to Agent, to be sold by Agent at rate authorized by City
Council. The Citv Manager or his designee shall notifY Agent if the amount is to be changed.
4. As compensation for the faithful performance of his duties as Agent, City agrees to pay Agent 50
cents for each Beach Permit Sticker sold by Agent for City
5. By the fifth of each month, Agent shall fax Settlement Sheet to the City of Corpus Christi Accounts
Receivable Office, (361) 880-3131. to document ( I ) the number of Beach Permit Stickers that were
sold by Agent during the previous month at each location, and (2) the number of Beach Permit Stickers
on hand in each Agent location. City shall invoice Agent monthly for amount due City, less
compensation to be retained by Agent. Agent shall submit payment to City by the end of the month.
6. I'his agreement has a term of one year. beginning upon the date of execution by City. This
Agreement continues for ten (10) additional one year periods, unless terminated as follows. This
agreement may be terminated immediately by City upon a breach of Agent of any of the terms and
conditions of this Agreement. This agreement may further be terminated by either party without cause
by giving the other party thirty (30) days written notice of such termination. Upon termination, Agent
shall immediately return to City all unsold Beach Permit Stickers.
7. All notices required or permitted under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed
effective upon personal delivery or upon deposit in the United States Post Office, by registered or
certified mail, postage prepaid, addressed to the other party at the address shown above (and if to the
City. marked to the attention of City Attorney; or if to the Consultant, marked to the attention of
Executive Director), or at such other address or addresses as either party shall designate to the other in
accordance with this Section 7
