Amendment NO.2 to Agreement with Accessible Communities, Inc. ("Contractor") and
City of Corpus Christi, Texas ("City")
Whereas, the City and Contractor with mailing address of 1537 yth Street, Corpus
Chnstl. Texas, executed an Agreement regarding services for Hurricane Katrina
evacuees ("Agreement");
Now, therefore, the parties agree to amend the term of the agreement as follows:
1. Responsibilities of the Contractor, Section 2, is amended to add subsection G
read as follows
'A Contractor shall assess the housing needs of all identified evacuees
registered in Corpus Christi shelters within seven calendar days from date of
contract execution by City Manager.
B. Contractor shall compile a list of available housing within seven calendar
days from date of contract execution by City Manager.
C. Contractor shall provide contracts to housing providers in Corpus Christi
area. for final approval by City Manager within seven calendar days from date
contract is executed by City Manager. Attached is a sample agreement to be
reviewed with potential housing providers.
D. The Contractor agrees to record its expenditures under this Agreement on
a regular basis. The Contractor agrees to provide the City with a copy of the
Contractor expenditures and supporting documents on a weekly basis.
E. The Contract agrees and acknowledges that the City shall only reimburse
the Contractor's costs if such costs are deemed reimbursable by FEMA. The
Contractor shall be responsible for all costs which are not reimbursed to City
by FEMA
F. The Contractor agrees to verify that the evacuee is registered in the
existing shelter as a victim of Hurricane Katrina.
G. The City of Corpus Christi has been workina to assist housina providers
and Katrina evacuees to transition from FEMA Section 403 of the Stafford
Relief and Emeraencv Assistance Act - Housina Assistance Proaram. to the
Section 408 -Individual Assistance Proaram. The Contractor aarees to
assist evacuees as they transition from Section 403 assistance to Section
408 assistance.
2. The term of the agreement Section 8. is amended to read as follows:
"8 Term and Termination. Once approved by all Parties, this Agreement shall
continue until March 30,2006. This Agreement shall continue on a month-to-month
extension until City provides Contractor with notice of termination. This Agreement

may be terminated with or without cause by either party upon one day's written
notice to the non-terminating party"
3 ThIS Amendment NO.2 takes effect upon execution by the City Manager.
4. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain unchanged.
